Just an update

See I told ya i wouldnt be very good at this blogging stuff. Its been 6 months since my first and only post. Alot has gone on since then. The kids are growing like weeds. Ill start off first on Tyson.
Tyson is doing great, growing fast. He will be turning 3 on November 2nd. I swear it feels like he was just borning yesterday. Hes one smart little boy. He loves his trains, cars and trucks. Some days i get lucky enough he will stay pretty busy most the day playing with them.

A couple months ago Ty started speech therapy.  Which he just loves! Hes doing so great in his program and is making good progress. He is just a little behind in his speech, but i think it has alot to do with his past ear infections. Doctors say his ears are good but i cant help but think the infections have a had a little play with his delay. Right now we have been working with his B,P,&M sounds(he likes to substitute his those sounds with Gs). Hes so funny he will come up to me and tell me B..B..Thank u mom...lol Because how we work with the b,p,m sounds is b b ball or mmm mmm mom... or p p puppy. and the fact that he has learned the technique of how to use those sounds but putting them with thank you mom just makes me giggle. He gets what hes suppose to do but isnt putting it with the right words. But hes getting there, hes talking so much more and its getting a little easier to understand him. Im hopeing to put him in preschool next year!

Miss Sydney is growing up so fast. She is now 9 months old. In the last 6 months she has started crawling, and she sure picked that up fast. I figured it would be awhile before she would attempt the stairs but it didnt take her long at all. I turned around one day and she was going up the first step and gradually over a couple days she was to the 4th.  And in about a weeks time she mastered the stairs clear to the top. Made me nervous but i let her do it and stayed close by! When she reached the top she booked it straight to the bedroom. She knew exactly where she was going. She has 5 teeth and 2 more on there way. She says a few words, mama, & dada. She just started shaking her head no at us, which at the moment is just adorable. And here soon she will be moved up to a big girl carseat...Crazy to think in 3 months she will be a year old. Makes me sad how fast my kids are growing.
I love this face

Bradley has started a new job. Hes now driving truck over the road and gone for about a week at a time. Its been a hard change on all of us. But it will get better.
Ive been trying to finish school, but its been so hard with the 2 kids and brad being gone. I can never find the time. But other than the all that thats my update! Ill try to keep on top of it! Have a great day and thanks for reading!!

New To Blogging

Ok, so this blogging thing is all completely new to me and I don't know how well I will be at it. I have read my cousin Amy's blogs and it has inspired me to create an account of my own and give it shot. Plus she told me its a great way to keep family updated with my life! So I guess I will start by updating everyone about The Briggs Family.

For starters I met my wonderful husband Bradley in Nov 2005 and we got married August 4th,2007. Then we had our first child Tyson Wayne Briggs Nov 2,2007. And that's when all the real fun began! I love being a mommy, i wouldn't change it for the world. Ty has been my pride and joy since day one. But I tell you what he is 100% boy. A real hand full he is. And over the past 2 and 1/2 yrs he has given me my much needed exercise. But he is major goof ball.

This is when we took him out shooting.

First time shooting the .22, he thought that was the coolest thing ever!

But Jan. 8,2010 Sydney Sue Briggs was born and Tyson became a big brother. He loved her at the hospital he loved her and when we brought her home it was a different story. He still has his moments with her. He will love her and give her kisses but if you force her into his territory is when he isn't the craziest about her. In due time it will all be ok.

one day old

Sydney just turned 3 months April 8,2010. I cant believe she is already that old, the time sure has flown by. She is still fairly small. She went in a couple weeks ago for her shots and she only weighed 10lbs 12oz and she was 8lbs 2 oz when she was born. She is really starting to develop her own personality and I love. She has started to coo and smile. I love to sit on the couch with her and just talk, just because its like she is talking back. Those little moments are the ones I cherish the most. She is now sleeping through the night for the most part! YAY for me! I have really missed sleep the last couple months.

Her first Easter

So that's pretty much it. I'm a proud wife and mother. And i love my life!
